Woodward Academy's Juwan Thompson will be one to keep an eye on in the class of 2010. The bruising running back currently holds offers from Duke and Stanford. However, he says many schools are recruiting him and that there are many possibilities when it comes to getting offers. Those possibilities include UCF, Georgia, Georgia Tech and Vanderbilt just to name a few.

So far, Juwan says all the schools want him as a running back. Many coaches will stop by his school to see him.

"[Duke's] Coach Middleton has come a couple times. [Georgia Tech] Coach Johnson came once by himself then another time with all the other coaches from Tech. I talked with all the coaches that have come to visit. There's been a lot of them."

Are there any schools that stand out to Juwan?

"I grew up a big Texas fan. For right now though, I'm just trying to get some offers so then I can get into more details."

Thompson couldn't make a Junior Day at Georgia Tech and didn't make it to Duke's either. However, he should be going to Alabama this weekend and then to UCF's the next. What will he be looking for when it comes to choosing a school?

"I'm big on academics, just like my school. I also want the school to have a great athletic program."

The in-state schools seem to have what Juwan is looking for. He says he has been to games of both UGA and Georgia Tech and has talked to their coaches plenty of times. Does he have any interest in those schools?

"Oh yeah, I'm pretty interested. I'm just waiting for the papers to come in the mail."

What does he think of the coaches from the in-state schools?

UGA's Coach Richt - "He's pretty cool. He's a real straight-forward guy."

Tech's Coach Johnson - "He's very cool. He's very funny but very serious sometimes."

Thompson doesn't sound like he'll make an early commitment.

"Not at all, I'm going to take all the time I can to make the right decision."
