How did your visit to South Carolina go?
"It was a nice visit. I got a chance to talk with their new offensive line coach, Coach Wofford. We talked about what plans he had for the offense and how he felt I would fit in their plans. I got a chance to see the campus even though I have been there five or six times before. I'd say the visit went very well. They told me that I could play either side of the ball, which ever felt the best to me."
Did this visit change anything in your list of schools?
"No sir, right now I am still looking at the six schools that have offered me and only those six. I can't really say I am looking at other schools until I take a visit there. The six that have offered me are Georgia Tech, South Carolina, Clemson, Vanderbilt, Maryland, and Stanford. This visit just kept South Carolina in line with the other five as they are all in a straight line right now. I have no real favorite."
Do you plan on visiting any other schools in the near future?
"I know Clemson and Auburn have their Junior Day on the same Saturday, so I will have to decide on which school I will visit. However, I plan on going to both at some time along with Vandy and Georgia some time soon."
Are you ready for your last year of high school?
"Yes sir I sure am. We are on a 30 game winning streak and we have the team that can repeat as state champs. I really think we can and will but I know it will be hard work as there will be a lot of pressure on us. We have the longest winning streak in high school and if we go 15-0 and win the state championship that would be a great way to end my high school career as a player."
Kolton said he enjoyed his trip to South Carolina and he will continue to take in information on the schools that have offered him and will take a few visits to other schools to see how they compare to one another as he wants to make an informed and sound decision on his college choice.
