How recruiting been overall for you this spring?
"I think it went very well for me. I learned a lot about the all the schools and all the schools really showed me good things about themselves. It was a good period for me but I think the real part of my recruiting is just starting. I have taken everything in for the spring and have really opened up my recruiting so to speak."
What makes you say that?
"Well, now I will be going to summer camps and really evaluating how I fit into the different systems each college has and where they want me to play. I hope to have my decision done by August and I really have to evaluate a lot of schools. If I am 100% sure of a school I will make the decision then. I have about twelve offers and there have been some new schools that have come by my spring practice. While in the past I have said that some schools have led for my services, I've really opened it up some. Georgia Tech is still at the top but I won't say I have a top five though. "
What are the schools that have shown new interest in you?
Have you set up any summer camps?
Yes sir, I have three that I know I will be going to. I'm going to Georgia Tech, South Carolina, and Florida. Both Tech and South Carolina have offered and Coach Smith and Coach Kelly stay in contact with me. They want me as a corner just like Coach Wofford at South Carolina. Florida has Coach White talking to me a lot and Coach Meyer says that I have to go through their recruiting process and evaluation, just like all athletes they recruit, before they get an offer. They want me as a corner or slot back."
If Florida offers would they be up there on your list?
"Yes sir they would but how high they would be on it I'm not sure."
Last time we talked you said that GT defensive end Chris Crenshaw and his Mom were talking to you about going to Georgia Tech to play football with Chris. Are they still recruiting you hard for Georgia Tech?
Yes sir they are. Mrs. Crenshaw talks to me everyday about how great it would be for her son and nephew to play at Georgia Tech. I know she really cares for me and wants me there with Chris."
B.J. was out on his back porch playing cards with Chris Crenshaw and A.J. Harmon. He has a lot to think about for the next couple of months but whichever school he decides on they must have a good business school or marketing program. While he hasn't said anything lately about leaders, I feel there are certain schools that are in front of all the others.
