"Location isn't one of them. I really don't care where the school is as long as I like it and it is a good fit for me. Also, campus setting isn't that big of a deal either. I don't care if it is in a big city like Atlanta or a small town. What does matter is the quality of an education I will get and how well I get along with the coaches. Those are two big ones for me."

"No sir, I do not. I am very wide open at this time."

How about a time frame for making your decision? Many are making early decisions. Is that something you would do?

"That isn't a big thing for me. So far, I am taking it as it goes. I think I'll know when the right school is there for me and the right time to make the decision."

Dale's Take:

Hakeem was a quiet interview, but as we talked he warmed up and was more at ease. Obviously he is very talented by the amount of offers both verbal and written and by the schools themselves who are recruiting him.
