How was your visit to Georgia Tech on Saturday?

"It was a good visit. I really liked the time there and had a great time."

What did you get to do while you were there on Saturday?

"We got there a little late. We did get to participate in the Yellow Jacket Alley which was great. I liked how great the fans made every one feel as we walked down towards the stadium. We had a chance to tour the facilities and school and I can't tell how much I liked every thing I saw, it was great. We then had a chance to watch the team warm up and talk with the coaches."

What did the coaches have to say to you?

"They told me what they liked out of my sophomore season and wanted some junior highlights so they could really evaluate me even more. We (my Dad and I) were able to provide them with some film. The coaches then asked me to come back to the Wake Forest game and they want me to come to their summer camps next year. I plan on making them both if my schedule for my high school the weekend of the Wake allows me to do so. We play on Saturday so we will have to see what times both games are and how it will work out."

Did this trip put Georgia Tech high on your list?

"Yes sir it did indeed do that. I have always liked Georgia Tech since the very first time I visited them. I fell in love with everything Georgia Tech represented and wanted to play there since then. Each visit I make to Georgia Tech makes me like Tech even more."

If Tech offers might you be making a commitment right then?

"I think I would do that as Georgia Tech is very much my top school right now. I will work real hard to do what it takes to make myself a better player and get that offer first. I mean what's not love about what Georgia Tech is."

Have you received any offers as a junior?

"Yes sir. I picked up my first offer from Eastern Michigan. It was a great feeling to get that first offer. It makes you feel real good inside."

How has your high school team been doing this year?

"It has been a tough year. We are in a 5A region and play some really tough teams. We have low numbers right now which hurts us but we are as a team working real hard to improve each week. Right now we stand 2-5 after our loss to Newton County."

Dale's Take: D.J. was real excited about his trip to Georgia Tech. The game made a last impression on him as did the crowd and the environment surrounding the game. Personally I feel that when Georgia Tech offers, he will be making a verbal commitment right then. You can tell in his voice how much he likes Georgia Tech and every thing it represents.
