Jeff Green

I understand you recently attended a Tech home game?

"Yes sir. I was there for the Georgia game and I liked it…it was good. I toured the football facilities and got to meet Coach (Buzz) Preston (Wide Receivers) and Coach (Todd) Spencer (Co-Offensive Line)."

But this wasn't your first visit to a college campus?

"No sir. I've been to a game in Tuscaloosa earlier this season."

Are you getting interest from a lot of colleges?

"It's starting to come, I don't have any offers yet, but I've been getting mail from a lot of schools and other types of contacts."

How will you decide what type of school you want to attend?

"I'd like to stay not too far from home, so my family can see me play."

Do you have a priority list based on where you'd like to go?

"Yes sir. Alabama is number one---they've invited me back for Junior Day. After that, it's South Carolina, Georgia Tech, UCLA and Auburn."

When might you decide where you will go?

"Probably after next football season---I'm looking forward to next year. We were 6-5 this year, but have a lot of juniors coming back---I think we'll be pretty good."

What are you doing to prepare for next year?

"I'm playing basketball now for Starr's Mill, will run track (hurdles) in the spring and also be involved in weight training."

At 6'6" you would seem to be an imposing presence in any sport?

"I'm not sure I'm done growing…my doctors think I still have some growing to do."

How about academics?

"I have a 2.8 GPA and my SAT score was 1180. I'll be taking the SATs again."

What about your summer plans?

"I've been invited to the (University of) Georgia passing camp." Top Stories
