Stephon Tuitt - Profile

What did you think about your day at the Georgia Tech - Wake Forest game?

"It was a really good game. We run the same spread offense (at Monroe High) and I admire their defense. I kept my eye on # 91 Derrick Morgan, the whole game, because we play the same position and we're about the same size. I really enjoyed it."

It appears interest in you is growing. Do you have any firm offers?

"Yes…from Clemson. I plan on going to their practice next week. I've been getting letters and contacts from other schools. Some coaches from Georgia came to my school this week."

Who else have you heard from?

"Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina and UCLA, so far."

Have you prioritized a list for now?

"Clemson is first…then Georgia, Georgia Tech, Florida and North Carolina."

How did you go about that process?

"I definitely want to stay in the South. I think my major is important and right now, it's law enforcement. I also think being part of a winning program is important."

When will you decide?

"I will take my time, because I think I'll still be hearing from more schools and I only have one offer for now."

How about your grades?

"I have a 3.4 GPA and plan on taking the SAT next month."

What are your summer plans?

"I've been invited to the Georgia Tech summer camp and I might do that. I'll take a look at other camps like Florida and North Carolina." Top Stories
