Marist School kicker Justin Moore took his official visit this weekend to Georgia Tech. Justin picked up some pointers and bonded with current Tech kicker Scott Blair, who was Moore's host.

Justin Moore – kicker profile

How did your official visit go?

"I had a really great time. I got to meet with the coaches and get to know them better. I met a bunch of the players. I had a really good time."

Who was your player host?

"My player host was Scott Blair. He's a great guy. He was really nice and informative. He seemed anxious to get things going with me. Once I sign, I'll be able to go and kick and work out with them. He was giving me some tips, too. He talked about moving to the ground, because in high school we kick with a one inch tee, and how it will be different."

Did you get into any specifics with the coaches?

"Not really, they're just anxious to have me there. I'm anxious to get there, too, and be a part of something great. I'll have the chance to compete for a starting position."

Do you punt as well as kick?

"I did punt in high school. I think the coaches want me specifically as a kicker. Chandler Anderson seems to be doing a good job with the punting there."

Jared's Take:

Justin is really looking forward to getting to Tech and working out with the kickers. He hopes to make an immediate impact for the team this fall. His only other offer had been Miami (OH), whom he was committed to until the hometown team decided to extend an offer. Top Stories
