Tech got Smith's attention on the visit Saturday when they gave him a scholarship offer. The offer and the chance to spend some time with Coach Paul Johnson made a favorable impression on Smith.

Coach Johnson also opened Smith's eyes when he told him that one out of six Tech graduates is a millionaire. "That sure got my attention."

Terrance has a lot of schools knocking on his door. A combination of football talent and a 3.25 GPA has gotten him a lot of attention. Tech wasn't the only school that offered Smith on Saturday. He also got an offer in the mail from Ohio State.

In spite of all the interest he's getting, Smith has yet to stop and figure out what schools he favors. "I'm going to get to a time when I put all the things aside and try to figure things out."

Following his trip to Georgia Tech today, Smith will also begin to take additional visits. He has plans to visit Alabama, Clemson, and Georgia. A visit to Florida State may also be part of his upcoming schedule. Top Stories
