Greenville, South Carolina standout wide receiver Hakeem Flowers made a return visit to Georgia Tech Saturday. The Wade Hampton High School star returned after previously visiting the campus for the Georgia Tech- North Carolina game this past season.
One of the highlights of his trip was spending a good bit of time with Coach (Todd) Spencer. "It was really good seeing the campus," said Flowers. "It was special to spend time talking to Coach (Paul) Johnson, too."
Flowers was unable to make it to Tech for their Junior Day, but after the trip Saturday, he plans on returning for spring practice. "That's a time when I could get to meet some of the players and talk to them."
Hakeem has been getting more than his share of attention from programs across the country. To date, he has thirty plus offers. The visit to Tech helped raise his interest since his last visit for the North Carolina game. "My interest level was increased after getting to see more of Tech."
With so many schools perusing Flowers he'll be piling up his frequent flyer miles trying to narrow down his list down to the schools that will get an official visit from him. Flowers currently has no plans to attend any summer camps or combines.
