GT Offer in Mail for Darius Jennings

Baltimore, Maryland's Darius Jennings is a shifty, speed merchant. The Gilman School athlete is on the radar for many schools.

Darius Jennings – Profile

The highly rated Jennings is on the radar of numerous schools and is beginning to receive quite a few offers. "I think I have about thirteen at this point." One of his most recent offers came from Lamar Owens at Georgia Tech. Owens told Jennings that an offer was in the mail.

While he's picked up quite a few offers Darius has yet to visit many schools. He recently visited Rutgers for their Junior Day and will probably be making the short trip to Maryland for their Junior Day due to the convenient location.

Jennings was scheduled to make the trip south to Winston-Salem for Wake Forest's Junior Day but the snowstorm hit that weekend and he was unable to make the trip. He'll be making a trip to Charlottesville in early March to visit Virginia.

At the present time, Darius doesn't have any firm plans to visit Georgia Tech. It's been a while since he's made the trip south to Georgia for a family reunion.

Jennings is a versatile athlete who could see himself play at various positions in college. He's played wide receiver and has spent a lot of time as the "wildcat" running the ball. "If I can get bigger, I may even be an A-Back." Darius is currently 5'11" – 175.

Jennings has given some thought about a major but has not made any firm decisions. He's thinking about pursuing and engineering or business management degree. He carries a 3.0 GPA at the well respected Gilman School.

Like most players he'd like to be able to play right away. He'll rely on his parents to help him decide which school will give him that opportunity and which school will give him the best opportunity to pursue a career in his desired major. Top Stories
