The visit to Tech went well for Braun. "I really enjoyed watching the team practice and watching the coaches lead them through the drills." Braun also noticed differences in the line play. "I could tell there are a few differences from the pro style offense line play." Braun didn't see that as a problem from the offense he plays in now and feels he wouldn't have a problem picking up the differences. "If you block well, you can pick up the different techniques that the coaches teach you."

While he was at practice, Braun had a chance to talk to offensive line coach Todd Spencer. Spencer is also Braun's recruiting coach. He also had a chance to talk with Tech's other offensive line coach Mike Sewak. "I got a chance to talk with Coach (Paul) Johnson some but obviously he was very busy running the practice." Trey was glad he had a chance to talk to the coaches. "They have a really good staff at Tech."

The coaches talked to Trey about what Tech stands for academically and what it stands for as far as a football program is concerned. "They all said they would love to have me at Georgia Tech." After watching his film, the Tech coaches felt that he would be a guard in their system. Did Braun leave campus with an offer? "I have a written offer from Georgia Tech," said Braun. The offer brings his total to six. Arkansas, Central Florida, East Carolina, Illinois, and South Florida are the other schools that have offered Braun.

Trey left Tech's campus with a leader. "Georgia Tech is my leader right now." Trey feels that he and Tech are a perfect fit. "I like the way the coaches handle the players and I like how the school stresses academics to the student-athletes." Trey is thinking about an engineering major when he gets to college. "The program is top-notch and they take pride in it like they do with their academics."

Braun is on spring break and has also taken a trip to Auburn earlier in the week in addition to his trip to Tech. He also has plans to visit Georgia on Thursday and then head back to Tech on Friday. "I want to see them in pads when they start to hit." That will be his last visit until the summer. Braun has plans to camp at both Auburn and Georgia Tech.

Academics will be the first priority for Trey in choosing a school. "I want to have a good education that will give me future opportunities for life after football." Location will also be a factor in his decision. "The location I'm talking about is not being too far from home but being too close." Braun feels he would like Atlanta if he chose Georgia Tech.

Braun has plans to make his decision during the summer or right before his senior year starts. "I'd like to have that out of the way before my senior year starts." Top Stories
