Monroe, GA defensive end Stephon Tuitt continues to get attention from schools around the country. He was at the MVP Camp at Georgia Tech on Friday to show what he can do.

Stephon Tuitt - Profile

This was only the second time that Stephon had attended a camp but he felt more comfortable with the pressure this time. "I wanted to work on my hand placement and my footwork."

Tuitt has recently added to more schools to his list of offers. "I've gotten offers from Notre Dame and Purdue with Purdue being my latest offer."

Stephon hasn't taken many visits lately but plans to visit Georgia next week and will be staying on campus at Georgia Tech to talk to the coaches following the camp. Tuitt also has a few scheduled for the summer. "I'm going to the Nike Combine this summer and I'm going to some camps to work on improving my skills."

Looking ahead, Tuitt has made a decision on when he'll make his college choice. "I've decided to make it before my senior football season." Clemson, Florida, Georgia, Georgia Tech, and Notre Dame are the schools that Tuitt has on his list of favorites. He was quick to add when rattling off the list that they were not in order of preference.

Academics will play a big role in the school that Tuitt selects. "I want to know if when I graduate from that school is the degree going to mean anything." Tuitt plans to major in sports medicine or aerospace. "I want to know if that degree is going to mean anything in that major."

Tuitt was one of the top defensive performers at the camp which only reinforced the reason for all the attention that he's getting from some of the top football programs. Many feel that the in-state schools may have the lead but Notre Dame is also another school to watch. Top Stories
