Conley had a chance to see more of Georgia Tech on his return trip to campus. "It went very well," said Conley. "I had a chance to see the school and talk with the coaches while I was there." Chris also enjoyed his meeting with team chaplain Derrick Moore.
Parts of Conley's visit included watching Tech practice. "I was able to see them installing some things for the upcoming season." Conley enjoyed watching how the team practiced. "I liked seeing how the players interact with the coaches," said Conley. "It was good to see first hand."
For Chris, the best part of the trip was talking with the academic advisors. "My education is very important and meeting with the academic support staff that Tech has was very good, said Conley. "I know that a degree from Georgia Tech is very valuable and I like the fact that the coaches stress the academics at Tech."
Following his trip to Georgia Tech, Conley made the trip to Athens to visit Georgia on Tuesday and will be in Tuscaloosa on Wednesday to visit Alabama. "I'm not sure what other visits, if any, I will make this spring."
Chris also has plans to attend some summer camps. The ones he has planned now are ones that he will make with his high school team. "I haven't set up any camps to any one particular school as of now."
Conley currently has eleven offers. Alabama, Georgia, and Georgia Tech are the three that he's visited. At this time, he doesn't have a list of schools that stand out from the rest. "I'm still looking at all the schools that have offered and then I'll go from there." Although he's not ready to list favorites, Conley does have a few schools that interest him right now. "Schools like Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, and Georgia Tech are ones that interest me a lot but I can't say they are my favorites though."
The time for making a decision is nearing for Conley. "I will be announcing some time this spring." Chris will sit down with his family, teammates, and head coach and then announce which school he has selected. "My family plays a big role in my recruitment and I plan on them being there when I do make my decision."
