Brian's impressions of the visit were positive ones. "I had a great time and learned a lot today about Georgia Tech and their new defensive coordinator Al Groh."
Randolph was impressed with how intense the practice was and how aggressive the defense played. "The defense is one that will be difficult to attack," said Randolph. "Coach Groh is smart when it comes to planning a defense." Randolph is glad that Groh is coaching at Georgia Tech and thinks he's a smart coach. "You can tell he will have his defense ready this year."
Randolph has taken two visits this spring. The visit he took to Georgia Tech on Wednesday and one to Mississippi State. "Georgia Tech has much better facilities and is closer to home which is a plus," said Randolph. "Mississippi State is near where my grandparents live so that is great too."
Now that he's taken the two trips this spring, Randolph doesn't have any further plans. "Right now I am taking things as they come."
Randolph has decided to narrow his list to two schools. "Right now Georgia Tech and Tennessee are co-leaders," said Randolph. "I will choose from one of those two schools."
There are a few things that may separate one of the two schools from the other. "How well I get along with the coaches, closeness to homes, the academics, and how I feel when I'm on campus will be the determining factors in choosing a school."
The talented safety will likely make his decision during the summer. "I know it will be before my senior season starts." Randolph hopes to get the decision out of the way so that he can enjoy the season.
