Bridges was in Atlanta this past weekend to watch Georgia Tech practice. "It was really great," said Bridges. "They do a lot of the same defensive drills that we do at our high school."
Mark had a chance to talk with the coaches on his visit. "I spent a little time with Coach (Paul) Johnson and we talked about recruiting and he asked me how things were going." Bridges also had a chance to talk to Coach (Todd) Spencer. "They encouraged me to continue to work hard and come to their camp this summer," said Bridges. "I plan to do that."
While Bridges didn't receive an offer on his visit, he feels he may be close to getting one. "They said I was close, but made no promises." East Carolina and Central Michigan have offered Bridges and he's been told that Cincinnati is also going to offer him. None of those schools stand out to Bridges right now.
Mark's schedule will be full the remainder of the spring and the coming summer. "I have the Shrine Bowl Combine and the Nike Combine at Virginia Tech." Bridges will be camping at Auburn, Clemson, East Carolina, Georgia Tech, North Carolina State, and possibly a few others. The 6'-194 safety is also keeping busy running track.
Mark is in no rush to make a decision. "I'll be making a decision as late as possible."
