Levi Randolph - They're All About Even

As a junior at Bob Jones High School, Levi Randolph was named Alabama's 6-A basketball player of the year. The Madison, Alabama athlete is getting attention from a number of schools.

Levi Randolph - Profile

Following his standout season, the offers began to come in for Randolph. With a few new offers his list now stands at twelve. "The latest have come from Georgia Tech, Virginia, and Memphis."

Does Randolph think any of the schools are recruiting him harder than the others? "Pretty much all the schools are recruiting me hard, especially Georgia Tech and Memphis," said Randolph. "I've talked to some of Tech's coaches, including Coach (Paul) Hewitt, but haven't set any visit dates yet." Randolph has not set visits to any of the schools that are recruiting him.

Levi has the twelve offers in hand but has not gotten to a point where he's narrowed down that list. "They're all about even."

Randolph has grown to nearly 6'6" from his reported 6'4" and may also now have schools looking at him for the three in additional to his current shooting guard position. He's currently taking part in the AAU season which will run through July.

Levi has one main thing that he's looking for in selecting a school. "The most important thing to me is I want to be in an environment that will make me better on and off the court." He currently has a 3.8 GPA and a 3.6 in his core subjects.

Randolph will probably let his recruitment play out for a while and make a decision some time around November. For now he'll continue to play AAU ball and then he's also committed to play in the NBA Top 100 Camp at the University of Virginia in June.
