Crowder has begun to see some schools stopping by Tennessee High School during the evaluation period. Four schools have stopped by to talk to Crowder's coach. "So far Georgia Tech, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest, and Middle Tennessee have stopped by and talked with my head coach." All of those schools expressed their interest in having Mack attend their school.
Crowder is not ready to name a favorite. "I currently hold offers from Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, Duke, Middle Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Maryland, and Central Florida." He'll be visiting each this summer. "I want to get to know each coaching staff as best I can," said Crowder. "I want to see each campus and get a good feel of what it's like being there"
Coach Todd Spencer was one of the coaches that stopped by to evaluate Crowder. The Georgia Tech offensive line coach spent some time with Crowder's head coach. "I really like him; he's a character and really relates to the players very well."
Mack still has plans to make his decision before his senior season. "I want to have the distraction out of the way so I can enjoy and really concentrate on my senior season of high school ball." Crowder will take his time in making that decision and once he decides to make that decision he won't be taking any more visits.
Crowder and his teammates have started spring practice. The start was delayed one day due to the rain storms in Tennessee. They're now going full speed and going at it hard. "I have been playing both center and tackle so far this spring."
