Ocean Springs, Mississippi receiver Joe Morrow is being recruited by schools from all across the nation. He has narrowed that list to six schools. A couple of reports had Georgia Tech eliminated from the mix. Morrow informed Scout.com that not only is Georgia Tech in his final six but he is setting up an official visit to Atlanta to get the full tour of the school and city.
Recruiting is finally starting to slow down for Morrow. "For a while it was real hectic but it has started to slow down and I can relax a little." Morrow has heard from schools in just about every part of the country. "Since I announced a final six schools, it seems to have slowed down a little."
Some have said that Georgia Tech isn't on Morrow's list. "Georgia Tech is up there with the others," said Morrow. "It would be an honor to play the same position as Calvin Johnson at Georgia Tech." Morrow models his game after Johnson.
Morrow won't be making his decision until he has visited all six schools. "I have talked to Georgia Tech and Arkansas about making official visits in December." Morrow won't make a decision until then. "I fully intend to wait until after my senior season to make my decision. The earliest we might see a decision from Morrow is December.
Morrow's mom is still very high on Georgia Tech. "She likes Tech very much and likes what she has read on the school and the opinions people have of the school," said Morrow. "It has all been very positive and she feels that Georgia Tech would be an excellent place for me to go."
