Dominique Noble was excited about making his commitment to Georgia Tech and announced it on one of the social networks. "It's on my Facebook wall and I've called both Coach (Al) Groh and Coach (Todd) Spencer to let them know that I was committing to the Yellow Jackets." Noble is excited to be joining three of his fellow in-state players. "Tre and I were talking and we both decided to commit today but Tre got excited and pulled the trigger last night (laughing)." After McNair pulled the trigger Noble went ahead and made his choice today.
Both coaches were excited to get Noble's phone call. "They were even more excited now that I have gone public with it as they felt I was coming in all along and we have built a great relationship." Coach Groh mentioned to Noble that he was the number one cornerback on the board and was excited to get his verbal commit. "All of the coaches are excited about my news and happy about the way this class is shaping up," said Noble. "They said it gets better with each commitment and I am glad to be a part of this great class coming to Georgia Tech."
Noble liked a lot of things when he looked at Georgia Tech. "The academics are some of the best in the nation and the engineering school is one of the best and that is where I'm headed." Noble also likes the winning tradition at Georgia Tech. "Georgia Tech just won the ACC championship and they have a winning tradition and I want to be part of continuing that winning tradition." Noble likes that he'll be a part of the winning program being built by Coach Paul Johnson. "I know I will continue to be a winner and we will be working hard to make sure of that."
The recruiting experience was a good one for Noble. "Not everyone get this chance to have some great schools recruit you to come to their school and God blessed me with the ability to be able to do something like this and I am very thankful for that." Noble made sure to thank the other schools that recruited him and he appreciated the interest they showed in him. "I have picked the school that is right for me and that is Georgia Tech," said Noble. I can't tell you how excited and happy I am over this."
