"I expect all our players to take care of their responsibilities on and off the field," Richt said. "When players don't do that it damages the reputation of the player, our team, and our university. My goal is for Caleb to learn a lesson and for other players to learn from his experience." King has rushed 44 times for 228 yards and one touchdown. He missed two games with an ankle injury sustained in the season-opener, but has led the team in rushing the past two games.

Georgia coach Mark Richt handed junior tailback Caleb King a two-game suspension following a Monday arrest on charges of failure to appear in court in Walton County to answer to a speeding ticket.
