The 6-foot-7, 220-pound junior has been offered to play forward by Fox and tight end by Richt, Goodwin said.
Most believe he'll choose basketball as his sport at the next level. He's currently rated the No. 10 power forward in the 2012 class.
"I liked it over there," Goodwin said. "I enjoyed the game. It was fun to be there. I like how when they get in tough situation nobody panics."
Goodwin arrived in Athens early Saturday morning and got to hang out with most of the team.
One player in particular stood out to Goodwin.
"I got to hang out with (Georgia's leading scorer) Trey (Thompkins) and the whole basketball team. I like Trey and the way he plays. That's who I model my game."
Currently, Southwest DeKalb is 10-3, thanks in large part to Goodwin, who is averaging 19 points and 10 rebounds, he said. Georgia made a good impression on the 2012 prospect.
"I really like Georgia," he said. "They are in my top five."
