What We Are Hearing: Recruiting Edition

ATHENS – Recruiting is winding down – check out what Dean Legge is hearing right now.

Georgia could be in for some good news come Signing Day. There is little doubt that this recruiting finish will likely rival any of Mark Richt's closings in the last decade. Looking back – the close of 2008; with Kwame Geathers, Marlon Brown and Orson Charles and the close of 2006; with Geno Atkins, Reshad Jones and Knowshon Moreno stand as the best closes so far.

But if Georgia runs the table with Isaiah Crowell, John Jenkins and Ray Drew I don't think there is going to be much debate that it would likely be the best close in Richt's ten years. The addition of a slew of other recruits – including Jeoffery Pagan, Kent Turene, Anotonio Richardson and Dexter Staley – would make for one dramatic Signing Day indeed.
