Murray Suffers Sprained Ankle

ATHENS - Georgia's starting quarterback Aaron Murray sprained his ankle in a pick-up soccer game Saturday.

Murray was evaluated Monday and should be ready for spring practice, according to Georgia Director of Sports Medicine Ron Courson.

Initial reports claiming Murray broke his ankle were officially proven wrong by a report released by Georgia associate athletic director Claude Felton.

X-rays taken were negative and an MRI performed Monday confirmed a right ankle sprain.

Murray was able to jog in the water tank at Butts-Mehre Monday, according to sources.
