"Right now I am trying to get bigger and faster. I am working out and running. I follow the booklet that they sent me every day," he said.
While he did not comment on how much faster he has gotten, Chandler did say that he has gained over 35 pounds since he stopped playing football in December.
"I am about 275 right now. I was 240 after my senior season," he said.
Chandler said that he was not sure if his weight gain would mean that he would see playing time in 2003. "I have no idea if I will play next season. But I am ready to (play) now. I haven't played since December so I kind of want to get out there and hit people," Chandler said.
"G Day was good I enjoyed it," added Chandler of his trip to Athens. He went on to say that he is trying to enroll early at Georgia in order to get more accustomed to college life. "I am trying to go to Athens in June but I won't know if I can until the middle of May."
