Pike Wants Return Visit to Georgia

ATHENS – It remains to be seen who Georgia's biggest target in recruiting quarterbacks is for 2012.

But one player, five-star quarterback Zeke Pike seems like one of the players the Bulldogs have targeted. Georgia has only offered four quarterbacks in the class of 2012, and only one of them – Greyson Lambert – is from the Peach State. That's why is seems there is some mutual interested between Georgia and Pike.

"My trip to Georgia went well," Pike said. "I got to spend a lot of time with Coacj Bobo as well as Coach Richt."

Pike was shown around – given a view of what life would be like off the football field, too.

"I got to see life in Athens," he said. "From academics to housing; from food to football. I think the facilities academics were wonderful. The dorms were awesome."

Pike spent time watching the quarterbacks with Georgia's head coach. During that time Pike said he got a feel for the dean of SEC coaches.

"Coach Richt is a great man of God," he said.

Pike, who is visiting Auburn on Friday, said that he was interested in visiting Georgia once more in the future. The rising senior finished 2010 season with more than 2,500 yards passing and 27 touchdowns. He also had 1,400 yards rushing with another 17 scores.
