Combining the ahead-of-the-curve focus of Athlon Sports and the up-to-the-minute mission of, the two sports media companies are teaming up on a preseason Top 25 for the 2003 college football season.

The Athlon preseason Top 25 will be released on network in countdown fashion, starting today with the No. 25 team and working to No. 1 on Friday, May 30. A new team will be revealed each weekday on the way to No. 1. Strengths, weaknesses and schedules will be analyzed by Athlon Sports for each Top 25 team.
