Coach Rodney Gardner has been recruiting Brandon Lang for Georgia. The prep star, who also plays baseball for the Tucker Tigers, said that he will probably play outside linebacker or defensive end at the college level.

"I am fast off of the ball and I hit hard," he said, and then added: "right now I have an offer from Maryland."

But the Terps will have to deal with instate Georgia if they want to sign Lang. "I went to the G-Day game and I fell in love with Georgia when I was there. I have liked Georgia since I was little."

"Darrius Swain comes back to Tucker and talks with us," said Lang. "He says that if Georgia is where you want to be then you have to stay focused on your grades in the classroom and you have to stay focused when you are playing on the field."

Lang went on to talk about a superstition that he has while playing. "I only wear only one glove," he said, "because I think that it brings me good luck." He explained: "one game I lost my glove and I played with only one. I had a huge game that day and so I only wear one glove when I play now."
