Profile 2004 - Ronnie Jackson (CB/WR)

Warner Robins High School athlete Ronnie Jackson has had an extremely productive week. On Wednesday, he won the region championship in the 100 meters and long jump, and he also helped lead his team to the region championship in the 4x100 and the 4x400. He was the top point earner on the day. Last season he played quarterback, but there is a move in his future.

"I played quarterback out of necessity last season," said Jackson. "This year I'll be moving out to wide receiver and playing full time at corner. I played corner in the 10th grade, and I'm excited about playing there again this year."

Jackson found time to hit two spring games despite his busy track schedule, and he is receiving interest from several schools.

"I went to Georgia and Auburn for their spring games. I wanted to get to Georgia Tech, and Louisville, but I couldn't make it. I like those teams, and I like Iowa a lot too. They've been recruiting me since I was a sophomore. I'm also hearing from Wake Forest and Mississippi State. I'm pretty much wide open though."

Jackson is a good student that already has a qualifying SAT score.
