Theus still a Dawg, but will visit ND

John Theus has set up an official visit to Notre Dame, but his feelings about Georgia have not changed. Get the latest on this UGA commitment here.

"I am going up to Notre Dame on the weekend of October 22 for an official visit. It is when they play USC," said John Theus.

"I was supposed to visit Notre Dame over the summer, but I cancelled it after I committed to Georgia. I kept in contact with Coach [Tim] Hinton and they still want me to come up for a visit so they can show me around.

"They understand that I am committed and I have been honest with them about my commitment. They know I am going to Georgia as long as Coach [Mark] Richt is there. They have been cool about it and I will go up there to see what it is like."

Even with the official visit set up, the 6-foot-6, 304 pound five-star OL out of Jacksonville (FL) Bolles still feels good about UGA.

"I am without a doubt 100 percent committed to Georgia and as long as Coach Richt is the coach, that is the school I am going to. I will be up there this weekend for the Mississippi State game."

Theus let Coach Richt know about his visit to Notre Dame and the UGA head coach took it very well.

"Coach Richt was happy that I called to tell him about the visit and he was happy that he did not have to lose any sleep over me visiting them," said a laughing Theus.
