Kentucky coach Joker Phillips strongly refuted those reports/rumors Sunday.
"Josh is doing well. We had a chance to get around him and all our freshman last week a little bit more (during the open week). He is in meetings every day. He is taking care of academics the way he is supposed to do. He is a young pro in the way he handles his business," Phillips said.
And the rumors?
"When you are struggling team people are going to start rumors," the Kentucky coach said. "As a football team, we have talked to our kids about being together. We are sticking together. There are no indications of those things," Phillips said. "We talked to Josh after hearing things. We got people reading the Internet messages and listening to call-in shows. People talk about what they want to. But we have to stay together. It was just some unknown rumor started by someone."
Phillips did confirm Sunday that freshman receiver Demarco Robinson, who was not in uniform on the sideline of Saturday's win over Jacksonville State, received a one-game suspension for violation of a team rule.
"He is back with us starting today and working with first and second units on offense," Phillips said.
