If Orson Charles leaves for the NFL, which is certainly possible, the Bulldogs are going to need some immediate help at tight end. Arthur Lynch would likely move into the starting spot, but Jay Rome, who is redshirting this season, will push him for playing time. Still, the Bulldogs usually need three tight ends in a season. They will sign Ty Smith in Februrary, but there's no reason to expect him to come in and contribute right away. Adding a junior college tight end might be exactly what Georgia needs. - Dean Legge, Dawg Post.
Jackson is an impressive athlete. At his size, you do not expect for him to be so smooth and fluid on the field. He is in that hybrid mold, a guy who could line up on the line outside the offensive tackle or someone who could flex out as a wide receiver. He is a strong receiver first type of guy with strong hands and the ability to stretch the field. Jackson is an Orson Charles like athlete that could fit right in at Georgia. - Chad Simmons, Scout.com
It is a three team race for Jackson, Arkansas, Georgia, and Oklahoma State are the ones still in the mix. He visited Arkansas officially this past weekend and Georgia has their shot this weekend before he visits OSU the first weekend in December. He is in Arizona, so the closest school on his list to him is Oklahoma State, but he has family outside of Atlanta. He likes how Arkansas and Oklahoma State thorw the ball around and he likes Georgia's history at tight end and how they use guys at that position. - Chad Simmons, Scout.com
