Monday Georgia Injury Report

ATHENS - Dawg Post reviews and updates the Dawgs' status heading into the SEC Championship Game.

RB Isaiah Crowell

Crowell didn't play against Georgia Tech on Saturday - sitting out the game after getting knocked out early in the Bulldogs' game against Kentucky.

Richt on Crowell (Sunday): "I think he will practice (Monday), so unless there's a setback I think he'll play in the game."

Monday Update: Crowell practiced in the rain with the Bulldogs on Monday. "Isaiah is ready to go. He's looking forward to this game. I am glad he's back ready to go 100%," center Ben Jones said of Crowell Monday.

DL DeAngelo Tyson

Tyson was hit on the knee by a Georgia Tech center Jay Finch on the first play from scrimmage. He did not return to the contest.

Richt on Tyson (Sunday): "I don't think he'll be practicing. I know he won't be practicing (Monday)."

Monday Update: It is unclear if Tyson will play on Saturday. Garrison Smith, who filled in for Tyson while he was injured against Georgia Tech, told the Atlanta Journal-Consitution that Tyson is "trying to get back as fast as he can. He's going to do whatever he can to get back for this game."

RB Richard Samuel

Samuel was injured on the last play of Georgia's 24-20 win over Florida on October 29th. The earliest he was supposed to be back was this week, but Richt is unclear on if that's possible.

Richt on Samuel (Sunday): "We are hoping. I don't know. I don't think he will practice tomorrow - I wish that I could say he could, but I can't. He didn't travel with the team to Tech. He went home and returned today. He didn't have treatment. Ron doesn't know what kind of progress he's made."

Monday Update: Staff at Georgia is not permitting any running backs to speak with the media this week. There is no update on Samuel's status at this time.
