Profile 2004 - Seth Watts

Seth Watts is one of the top offensive linemen in the state of Georgia and a lock to make the Southern Hot 100 team. At 6-6 and 305 pounds with a 5.1 forty, Watts has the versatility to play either tackle or guard on the next level. He has a host of top offers and three favorites early in the process.

"I went to a lot of schools that are close to home for spring practices," said Watts. "I went to Georgia Tech, Georgia, and South Carolina this spring. I've gotten several offers so far. Georgia, Stanford, Florida State, South Carolina, and Maryland are my top offers so far. My Top 5 teams that I'm interested in though are Georgia, Stanford, and Florida State as my top three, then Notre Dame and Auburn."

Watts is already an enormous prospect, but he has the potential to get even bigger in college.

"I have a size 18 shoe right now," said Watts with a laugh. "I have really good feet though. I take good angles to the block. My coaches tell me that I am learning to roll my hips really well into a block. With run blocking, it's the same thing. I feel like I take really good angles and do a good job of getting out on the linebackers."

"My goal this spring was to be devastating on every block I make. My motor doesn't stop, and that's one of the things I take the most pride in. I'm working this spring on getting stronger and faster, and I also want to take a leadership role on this team. I want to be in the weight room every day and do my best to help bring this team together."

Watts has all of the tools to be successful on the next level. He has size and quickness, but maybe most important are his work ethic and drive. Watts won't quit until he is the best he can be, and he won't let his teammates quit until they are the best they can be.

Teams cannot have enough players like Seth Watts on the field.
