Mark Richt visits top target

Mark Richt used his in-home visit with one of Georgia's top targets on Thursday and you can get the latest here.

"Mark Richt and Tony Ball visited me, my mom, and my sister today," Cordarrelle Patterson told Scout Thursday evening. "I like the Georgia coaches, they are good guys, and they are part of the reason I am looking at Georgia."

The Bulldog coaches told Patterson on Thursday what they have been telling him for months.

"They talked to me again about how I can help the team and help the offense. They feel I could come in and make a big impact. They showed me that when I visited them."

Georgia is one of the schools this four-star Junior College receiver is still considering. He is not planning to make a decision right now, but UGA has made a strong impression.

"I like Georgia, I think I could play there early, and the coaches there are great. I have a good feel for Georgia."

Auburn and Tennessee are the other schools Patterson has visited officially and Arkansas is another one that most feel he is considering.

When Scout asked Patterson is he would take any other official visits in January, he said, "I am not sure."

Patterson said all schools are still even.
