Georgia could pick up a second running back in the 2012 class with Todd Gurley set to announce Friday.
The Tarboro N.C. standout will make his decision at a press conference at his school at 2 p.m. His final four includes Clemson, Georgia, North Carolina and N.C. State.
Gurley was recently named offensive MVP for his performance in the Shrine Bowl. He rushed for over 2,500 yards and scored 35 touchdowns in leading his team to a third straight high school championship in 2011.
Gurley is close with tailback Keith Marshall, who committed to Georgia in December and enrolled in classes this January. The two took visits together to Clemson and Georgia in the fall.
"Something special happening in Athens… come join us," Marshall said to Gurley on Twitter earlier this week.
