"My parents want to be able to keep in touch with me. They love their son," he said. "Location is not really as big an issue as I thought it would be," he said.
When I spoke with Davis a few weeks ago, he said that location would be an issue for him, but he wanted to clear that up and set the record straight with regard to his situation and Georgia.
"Georgia is a very good school. I have been following them just as long as I have been watching college football. I would love to have an offer from them," he said.
"I mailed a tape out to them as well and plan on making them one of my official visits. I'm going to try to keep in touch with them and I'll see what comes of it," Davis added.
Davis said that he can "bring a lot to any team" and that he is eager to hear from Georgia. He will be keeping Georgia in mind in the coming months. Davis describes himself as "humble and coachable," both attributes would help Georgia in the future.
