Glenn Pushing Stock Higher at Combine

INDIANAPOLIS – Cordy Glenn came to the NFL Combine to impress NFL evaluators and get himself into the first round of April's draft.

Saturday helped a lot. Glenn, who weighed in at 345 pounds, ran a 4.96 40-yard dash. That was the second fastest time among offensive linemen and came one day after he did 31 repetitions of 225 pounds on the bench press, the fourth-best number among offensive linemen here.

"I think I am pretty good at everything but there are a lot of little things I can work on," Glenn said. "I want to be picked in the first round so I am trying to impress the coaches and do everything I possibly can to make that happen."

Glenn was asked this week about the best defensive linemen he faced during his time at Georgia.

"It was probably between Nick Fairley and Tyson Jackson," he said. "I played pretty well against both of them actually. They are big, strong guys and most of the time in college they kind of throw people around, but I am pretty big and strong, too."
