UGA target visiting soon

Georgia offered a coveted linebacker not long ago and he plans on traveling down to Athens to get a look at Georgia in the near future.

Alex Anzalone is a top linebacker out of Pennsylvania and Georgia made him a target of theirs recently. He plans to visit them soon to see what UGA is all about.

"Georgia has a great football program and it has been dominant in the SEC for many years. They play in the SEC, so that makes their offer even more prestigious and I want to get down there before narrow down my list. I do not know the date, but I plan on getting down there in March," Anzalone said.

Kirk Olivadotti was the coach that offered this 6-foot-3, 220 pound linebacker and he made a good first impression.

"I have talked to Coach O and I had a good conversation with him. He came off as a guy who cares about his players and I liked that."

This linebacker with over 20 offers has an idea of what Georgia is like on the football side, but equally important to him is academics.

When he does narrow his list down, and eventually makes his decision, he knows what he is looking for in a school.

"I am looking for a school with both solid academics and football with great people and rich tradition," he said.
