Tuesday Practice Tidbits

ATHENS - Tidbits from Georgia's fifth spring practice on Tuesday.

-- Former Georgia and Pittsburgh Steelers star Hines Ward was at practice Tuesday. He was decked out in all Georgia gear -- hat, pullover, shorts, even had red shoes on. Hines looked like a coach out there, spending most of his time watching the wide receivers.

-- Archer High defensive end Antonio Riles was also on hand. He and a few of his high school teammates were there with a coach. I also saw a coach from Brookwood watching, too.

-- Ben Jones and DeAngelo Tyson were also hanging around. Ben always seems to be around.

-- Players in green: Zach DeBell (ankle) and Xzavier Ward (knee). Players not practicing: Sterling Bailey (foot) and Rantavious Wooten (leg muscle).

-- On those playing multiple positions: Ray Drew and Cornelius Washington were with the defensive linemen again today. Drew and Watts Dantzler had a couple of good reps against each other. Both sides -- offense and defense -- were yelling out Ray's name during a one-on-one drill. ... Ramik Wilson spent time with both the outside and inside linebackers today.

-- Dallas Lee spent some time with the first-team offense at center. David Andrews took reps with the No. 2 group. I'm not sure how much to read into the order there.

More to come after practice...
