Tuesday Practice Tidbits

ATHENS - Tidbits from Georgia's spring practice on Tuesday.

There wasn't much going on at practice Tuesday that looked all that exciting. There were, however, some players not present on the field during the open periods.

Running backs Keith Marshall and Richard Samuel weren't out there. No word yet on if they missed all portions of the workout or why they weren't present has been given yet. We will update this as soon as we get word.

A few former Bulldogs were on hand: Ben Jones (who at this point simply won't leave), Drew Butler, Akeem Dent, Darryl Gamble.

Also a few recruits were watching as well: Chris Palmer, Stephen Alexander, Justin Wyatt. Admittedly, I don't know much about these players. We'll look into it. I've heard Nick Glass and Demarre Kitt are in town, but I didn't catch a visual on those two.

On the injury front: Rantavious Wooten (leg muscle) was practicing, but still in a no-contact jersey. Amarlo Herrera (stinger) was practicing, but also not taking contact. Xzavier Ward (knee) and Zach DeBell (ankle) were in green as well. Chris Conley was in green and spent much of the open period on the sideline talking to former fullback Fred Munzenamaier (who is now a GA). Christian Robinson (shoulder) was practicing and taking contact after missing Saturday's scrimmage.

We'll have more updates after practice.
