Glass Commits to Georgia

ATHENS - 2014 DB Nick Glass has committed to Georgia

"I'm a Dawg," Glass texted to a slew of reporters Wednesday night along with a photo with Georgia coach Mark Richt.

He is the Bulldogs' second commitment of the class of 2014. When contacted he said that he wanted to wait to discuss the commitment until he got home to talk with his mother.

Glass spent much of the week with fellow commit Shaq Wiggins – it was his second time spending time with Wiggins in Athens in the last few weeks. The pair also spent much of their time with Wiggins' high school teammate Demarre Kitt – who is considered one of the top wide receivers in the state for the class of 2014.

Last week Wiggins said the duo would be a good combination in the secondary at Georgia.

"Shaq was talking about Georgia a lot – saying that we would be good teammates. He thought that we could be lockdown corners in the SEC," Glass said.

The commitment comes just over a week after Richt offered Glass.

Glass finished his sophomore season with 75 tackles, 5 sacks, 5 pass break-ups, 4 interceptions, and 4 tackles for loss.
