Jamie Lindley: 32-yard FG
Mark Richt's Weather Report:
"It was a pretty morning. It was a nice day to practice, nice weather."
A few Richt observations from the scrimmage…
"I thought we threw and caught it a lot better (than last Saturday)," Richt said. "We started out not very good at all, but as the scrimmage went on more plays were made.
"Offense made more plays than they've had all spring long, but the defense is still pretty stout."
"The offensive line is being challenged every day, as you could see there still wasn't a whole lot of room to run the football. It did get moved more through the air, but you know the o-line definitely has a ways to go, there's no doubt about that."
On Corey Moore's performance and overall spring: "He did good. He's coming along. He's a very aggressive football player when it comes to coming up to make a tackle. He's a good athlete. He's learning a lot. He's getting a lot better. He's going to have to play for us, he'll be able to function for us."
A look ahead…
Safety Shawn Williams injured his knee in the scrimmage, Richt said. It doesn't appear he'll need surgery.
Play of the day…
"Blake Sailors had a real big hit on a little wide flair," Richt said. "Really separated the ball from one of our receivers and played real physical there."
Quote of the day…
"I don't know. I mean sometimes it hits faster than others. You just don't know. We've done a good job of getting offers out there and pursuing these guys and letting them know that we want them and getting them on the campus and those sort of things. It's been good." – Richt on the amount of verbal commitments already received for the 2013 recruiting class.
