2013 Intro: Village Academy (Fla) QB

Larry Brihm is a standout quarterback prospect from Village Academy High so lets take a closer look at him as a prospect.

Name: QB Larry Brihm

School: Village Academy HS (Delray Beach, Fla)

Size: 6-0/205

2011 season stats: Brihm was one of the state's most productive quarterbacks on the field last season. He finished the year with 2,252 yards passing and 698 yards rushing as he helped lead his team to the state playoffs.

Grades: 2.5 GPA/no test score

Recruiting: "I like Alabama, Florida, Oregon, and Texas (growing up)," Brihm said. "(Now) I like USF, West Virginia, Georgia, and FSU."

"Comfort and a pro style offense," Brihm, who claims no offers yet, said when asked what he'll be looking for in choosing a school.

As a Prospect: Brihm was excellent on the field last season. He has a live arm and threw the ball all over the field on opposing defenses last season. He's also athletic enough to make some things happen with his legs. He lacks ideal height for a major college quarterback but his arm strength and athleticism help make up for it. He doesn't have any offers yet but will likely have several schools keeping a close eye on him this spring. He's definitely a player to watch in the 2013 class.
