Edwards Passes Test, Cleared for Practice

After being placed on the Physically Unable to Perform list after failing a conditioning test yesterday, Patriots and former Georgia running back Robert Edwards passed the test on Tuesday and cleared to participate in practice.

Edwards insisted yesterday that his failure was not caused by his repaired left knee but by an overanxiousness to impress the coaches.

He did not disappoint on his second chance at the test and is back on track to compete for the starting running back position.
