R.A.S. Quick Preview

Saturday several top prospects from around the Midwest will head to the campus of Trine University (Angola, IN) for the first R.A.S. Football Camp presented by current Dallas Cowboys defensive end Anthony Spencer, Bedrock Youth Academy and Next Level program along with AWP Sports Performance. Who are some of the big names expected to show their skills? Here is a quick look.

With a goal of giving current high school student-athletes more than just a camp experience, the R.A.S. Football Camp will bring prospects and college coaches together in a learning environment for more than just football drills.

Headlining the event will be several key linebacker prospects sure to make impacts during their college careers.

Ft. Wayne (IN) Bishop Luers standout Jaylon Smith has impressed those who have seen him over the past couple of months as he's dominated competition at several events. It will be interesting to see how Smith performs in his own backyard.

Joining Smith will be Indianapolis (IN) Warren Central linebacker Tim Kimbrough and Chicago (IL) Simeon standout Reggie Spearman.

All three players have yet to make their college selections and some rumors have swirled Smith could surprise and use the event to make his decision.

On the offensive side of the ball all eyes will be on a couple of 2014 prospects as running backs. Jeffrey Jones of Minneapolis (MN) Washburn is expected to be in attendance along with Fisher (IN) Hamilton Southeastern's Jametrius Crokham.

Also looking to open some eyes will be 2013 tight end Nate Wozniak who stands 6-foot-9, 250-pounds out of Greenwood (IN) Center Grove High School.

With over 100 prospects expected to take part in the camp, FOXSportsNEXT.com will be on hand and provide full coverage of the event.
