Team Preview: Georgia Military (Offense)

When four-year schools go looking for top-end JUCO talent, one of their first stops is always Georgia Military College. This year, the Bulldogs are loaded with talent on both sides of the ball and today, JCFootball.com kicks off our 2012 Team Previews with a look at GMC's offensive roster and the thoughts of Assistant Head Coach/Defensive Coordinator Rob Manchester on each top prospect...

Here's a look at the top prospects on the offensive side of the ball, with some of Manchester's comments on each one...

Offense

QB Anthony Riggin - "Anthony has been our quarterback and he throws a nice ball, but he's more of a 'run-first' guy. We experimented with him a little at wide receiver this spring, but he'll be our quarterback. He's a real talented kid. He's about 6-feet tall and he was good for us last year. No offers yet, but we think he'll get some as the season moves forward."

RB Mario Alford - "This kid can really fly. He was the fastest kid in Georgia when he graduated high school and he was great for us last year. He already has offers from Ole Miss, Texas Tech, Arizona and Kansas and I think a lot more schools are going to get in on him soon."

TE Kris Hurley - "He's a very good blocker and if he keeps growing, he's already 6'4" and 265 pounds, he could easily be a tackle at the next level. He was a full-qualifier, so he's a smart kid and if he has a good year, I think a lot of schools are going be after him. He's set to graduate in December, so that's something a lot of schools like about him."

WR Kevin Gary - "He redshirted for us last year and he had a very good spring. He runs a 4.5 forty and he's got that legit size you are looking for at wide receiver. He'll be another one that with a good year, he should see some offers come in after they see what he can do."

WR D.J. Rozier - "He's not afraid to compete and he's the only small receiver we have taken. He's about 5'7" and 170 pounds. He's a slot-type, quick and he's got great hands. We love what he brings to our offense."

OL Nate Holton - "Very athletic lineman. He had a really good spring for us. He's about 265 or even close to 270, so that's probably one reason teams aren't all over him. He's really a good lineman."

OL Trenton Brown - "He's got that huge size, but he's pretty athletic too. We throw the ball around pretty good, so he's good at that and he's good at run blocking. He's big with great feet. Trenton has offers from Florida, Arizona, Kansas, Middle Tennessee, Georgia, South Florida, Texas A&M and Texas Tech. LSU and Mississippi State and a few more schools want to offer, so those could be coming in at any time."

OL Tre Carter - "Tre is probably our most athletic lineman. He can play center or guard. He had a great spring for us and he's a real team leader. He has offers from Akron and Georgia State. He's a special kid and player."
