The Opening: Kyrin Priester

BEAVERTON, Ore. - One time Georgia commitment Kyrin Priester is now looking at four schools. He talks about those, when he could commit, and more right here.

"Georgia is not really in it for me anymore," Kyrin Priester told Scout at The Opening. "We just did not talk that much, we lost communication, and I just needed to go another direction."

Priester could end up at one of Georgia's rivals in the SEC East. South Carolina is one of the real contenders for the 6-foot-2, 180 pound wideout.

"I like South Carolina a lot and I would probably put there on top of my list right now. I like Steve Spurrier, Jr. and I talk to him and Coach Sands a lot. They run a good offense, I like the way they play, and they are a school I hope to visit in July."

Three other schools are up there high on Priester's list at this time.

"North Carolina State, Purdue, and Florida State are schools I like a lot too. I would like to visit all three of them this summer before the season starts, but I have to check my schedule."

The three-star wide receiver according to Scout is just looking for the perfect fit. He is not concerned with depth-charts.

"People think I am scared to compete after I de-committed to Georgia, but that is not it at all," he said. "I love to compete, I love to play, and I know I will have to compete anywhere I go.

"I am just looking for the perfect fit for me with football, coaches, and academics. When I find that, I will commit."

Priester is not ruling out a summer commitment.
