The Opening: Brice Ramsey

BEAVERTON, Ore. - Georgia commitment Brice Ramsey spent four days in Oregon competing at The Opening and he was representing the University of Georgia.

"I am just ready to get to Georgia," Brice Ramsey said at The Opening. "I am not visiting anymore schools, I am 100-percent committed to Georgia, and I am just working hard this summer to get better for my senior year and then for Georgia."

Schools like Alabama and Ohio State made runs at Ramsey, but he likes where the UGA program is headed.

"We are getting top prospects, we have great coaches, and we just need to keep trying to add speed and play-makers to this class.

"I think we can get int there and help take the Georgia program to that next level. Georgia has always been good, but I just want to help make it a little better."

The Scout100 signal caller out of Kingsland (Ga.) Camden County is doing a little recruiting these days.

"I have been talking to Josh McNeil a lot since we met at the NIKE Football Training Camp in Charlotte, N.C. and I have been on Alvin Kamara too," he said. "I just tell them about Georgia, how they could make a different there, and how we want to get the best at every position."

Ramsey will be participating in the Elite 11 next month and he plans to graduate in December before enrolling at Georgia in January.
