"I liked it, it was good" said Christy. "The competition was decent but LSU had a lot better athletes but it wasn't a big difference."
With 16 offers on the table, Christy showed up to try to earn one from the Frogs. He feels like he did enough to earn an offer but like the staff told him; they still have some evaluating to do.
"I think I did good" he said. "Coach Haverty told me I impressed all the coaches out there."
While an offer wasn't extended, the TCU staff let Christy know that he is being considered and they want to continue evaluating him and one other receiver.
"They said they have one more wide receiver that they want to look at on the 28th and they want to continue evaluating me" said the big receiver. "They said that they don't just throw out offers so I'm just waiting to see what they say."
One thing that's mentioned time and time again when players visit the TCU campus for the first time is how immaculate everything is. From the sparkling new facilities to the beautiful campus, newcomers walk away impressed each time. Christy said he definitely liked what he saw.
"It was beautiful and they really keep it up nice" he said. "It's real compact and you don't have to go across town to get somewhere, it's like all right there close."
With numerous offers to choose from, Christy has started narrowing his focus. He says a decision could be right around the corner.
With his attention set on a select few programs, when would the Louisiana native like to pull the trigger? "I'll probably decide the end of the month or the first of the next month."
With TCU making his final five, we'll keep a close eye on Christy in the coming weeks. If the Frogs do come forward with an offer, things could get very interesting. Stay logged on to HornedFrogBlitz.com to stay in the know.
